Just breathe.




In this hustle-bustle of today’s auro,

Do you try to find a different tomorrow?
In this path of arrows untrue,
Does everything you do turns into monotony undue?
Do you see yourself as a mugged up
soul with too many roles and a lost goal?
Still,
just hang on and get up, go stand in front of a mirror, look at yourself, look straight into your eyes, see how pleasing human body is, look at those majestic lashes over there, analyze the curves of your nose, your lips, see how your unkempt hairs fall on your forehead, see how beautiful even your flaws are, look at your hands, the lines on your palm, they are like rivers on a map, listen, you’ll hear the rivers babbling, wow! music!

Now have a look at your moles, and scars, as if tattoos for free, now shhhhh! Listen to what your ears are busy trapping. Dayum, how much you owe to the universe.
Now just sit, sit down with your back straight, think how people all over are dying. Think, how lucky you are to be still alive, think because it’s free.

Now just relax, take at least 20 deep breaths or as many as you require to empty it all over there, and with every breath you inhale, imagine a tornado cleansing every nook, every corner, all the grooves, each and every inch of your brain, however dark it may be, and with every breath, you exhale, imagine all that clutter coming out along with that tornado.

Breathe, breathe and breathe, yes, you are almost there!

Now just listen, don’t get carried away by anything that gives you a reason to do nothing, don’t take those posts in the name of memes seriously that highlight the fact that it’s superior to do nothing and just scroll, that it’s superior to waste your time, that it’s cute to be a sloth and just eat and spend your day on a couch watching TV series all day long. All this will do no good, will not pay your bills. Instead, know the reason for your existence, be aware of what you are getting involved in, stop getting bothered by things that have nothing to do with your or somebody’s mental or physical well being.

This is the time to be someone you always wanted to be or what you were before ‘life’ happened. This is the time to read some good self-help books. This is the time to sit and look at your childhood pictures, to adore your younger self, this is the time to study the chapter you were having difficulty months back, this is the time to watch a blockbuster you missed earlier, (one in a day), this is the time to pay attention to the weak areas of your life, this is the only time to do all that good you prefixed with ‘kaash!’

And pray, pray for the world.
Now breathe.
